It Started with a Bucket
We are Siranjeevi Rangaraj and Aarthi Shanmugam, just two parents trying to do our best.
Like many new parents, we began our journey using disposable diapers for our baby. Every day, we used around three diapers, and within just two days, the bucket would be full.
It became a routine change, wrap, throw, repeat. We never questioned it, until one day, we did.
Our baby’s waste never felt like a big issue to us. But then we realized someone else had to handle it after we threw it away. Sanitation workers collect, sort, and separate this waste every single day. We started thinking about the smell, the exposure, the health risks, and the silent discomfort they endure. That thought stayed with us. And something shifted.
